wanna see what i made? |
Isn't it cute? It's the Just Ducky Hat and Socks set found as a free pattern here.
This photo accurately shows the color of the yellow yarn. I love the little webbed ducky feet! This is the matching hat. Ignore the lousy color...all the hat-only photos I took with the flash were completely washed out. I am happy with the bill and the floppy loops on the top of the head. I'm not happy with the eyes. I used little blue buttons because they were all I had. When I remember I plan to buy bigger black buttons, probably around 1" in diameter. I think they will be much cuter (more like the eyes on the original pattern).
Still, it came out pretty cute, no? I think so.
Wanna see what else I made?
(I'll admit...I had help with this one). |

First off, the little baby is soooo cute. (Praying it's a boy to play with my little guy!) And... when the HECK did you have time to knit that cute hat and socks?? Cuz aren't you working on the Dino? Wow,I wish I had time to make so many cute things. (I am going to check out that pattern, is it hard to make?)

I'm so happy for both of you :) What is your due date?
The little duckie hat and booties are so cute and you're right, the foot colour is just perfect.
Oops...don't want to be anonymous for these congratulations :)

Hi Jennifer! Glad to meet ya-linked to you from Stephanie. I'm a NYC knitter who married a bowler 2 months ago and I must know more about those socks! Hubby was reading the harlot blog over my shoulder and actually gasped when I scrolled to your picture. I have promised him a pair of bowling socks before, but you have now upped the ante for me in a big way(his exact words were, "I totally want those". Please, please tell me where I can get the pattern. I'll be your best friend...oh, and the baby looks great-Mazel Tov and happy gestating!
